How do returns of products bought with a gift card work?
The value of returned items comes back onto the gift card. The store (under TK Maxx’s general policy you have 28 days to return with a receipt) does not give back cash for items paid for with an e-code. The cashier will return the value of the goods back to the virtual balance of the card you paid with.
